At the
state budgetary session in 2006, the · Increase
the number of BS graduates in Geomatics from 15 to 80 annually by
establishing new BS degree programs at IFAS Research and · Provide undergraduate distance education courses statewide, nationally and internationally and a UF “Certificate in Geomatics” for students at other colleges and universities; · Work with FSMS to meet the Continuing Education needs in the State; · Develop a statewide MS program that allows place-bound professionals to obtain a Masters degree from many locations. In May
2007, two new faculty members were hired
at the Fort Lauderdale
Research and Education Center and the Gulf Coast Research and Education
Center. In August 2007, the Geomatics BS degree programs at those two
locations began to offer classes to their first cohort of students.
Undergraduate students finishing at any community college will be able to
choose |
