(SFRC/CALS/IFAS) Course: SUR 3323
Visualization of Spatial Information (Fall’07) Subtitle: AutoCAD in Surveying and Mapping Course Description: Methods of mapping, modeling, communicating and visualizing spatial
features. Includes boundary and
topographical features, attributes, site modeling, site development, mapping,
using computer aided mapping and design techniques. Software Requirement: Each distance education student must
have access to AutoCAD – at home, at work, or at school (community
college, university, etc.) Any
version of ACAD from ACAD 2000 to
the present will be OK. Access
to Land Desktop LD software is not required but access to this software will
expand learning opportunities, particularly in the surveying/mapping work
place. Registration Instructions: 1. You must be a registered UF student to
take this class, however, there is a shorthand process for
“non-degree” students.
