This class will introduce you to digital route design using Geopak2004 and MicroStation V8 2004 Edition software. Reduced lab notes will be available on the web as a secondary resource.  The web is not a replacement for coming to class.  Each lab will be explained in class on the lab day as shown in the calendar.  You are expected to have the lab completed by the following week, as each lab is built upon the previous. Besides, you may have assignments, which must be submitted on the due dates. .

A continuous route design project will be developed in class. These labs will be saved on your zip disk so that you could build on it in each lab. Your final project will require you to look into a specific function of Geopak not covered in class, develop some mastery over that function, and present its use to the class.
